Mental Health Counseling

Center practitioners draw from many theories of psychotherapy to support client growth and change. Our orientation is holistic in that transformation is most likely to occur when a person’s spiritual, mental, social, and physical dimensions are supported. Our specific theories include cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and transpersonal. Clients are encouraged to participate in adjunct therapies such as aerobic exercise, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and massage. Modifications in diet and lifestyle are also encouraged to reduce stress and promote well being.
