Linda Moran, LCSW-C The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.

Joseph Campbell

I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.  Working in a respectful and collaborative way I assist you in deepening your self awareness to your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Together we look at the impact they are having on your present life situation and your interpersonal relationships. Utilizing your own strengths and inner wisdom, we can work together to develop healthy coping skills that will make life feel more manageable and joyful.  The kind of relationship you enjoy with yourself and with others is critical to your overall sense of well being.

Although cognitive behavioral and mindfulness practices significantly inform my work, I also believe in the positive benefits of self care in the process of healing yourself and your relationships with others.  When indicated, clients may also be encouraged to use acupuncture, massage or yoga to support their therapy and ongoing wellness.

My specialties include:

  • caring for a significant other during a chronic illness
  • collaborative co parenting
  • couples therapy
  • depression and anxiety
  • divorce and separation
  • grief
  • life change and transitions

Group Seminar for Separating & Divorcing Parents

I offer a six hour group seminar for parents who are living separately or who are divorcing. These seminars are designed to help you look at ways in which you can move forward with a focus on self care, a deeper understanding and attention to the needs of your children and hope for your future together. These supportive seminars are held on the  3rd Saturday of each month at The Center for Mind Body Therapies. Each seminar includes some lecture, a video, quiet time for self reflection on your specific family situation and small group work. Pre-registration is requested. Learn more…
