CMBT’s Regina Flanigan Accepted
into 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teaching
Program with Tara Bach and Jack Kornfield
Regina Flanigan, therapist at the Center for Mind-Body Therapies, has been accepted into The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program offered by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Regina began the program in May 2017 and is headed to Santa Cruz, California for another in-person retreat at 1440 Multiversity learning center. This two-year comprehensive teacher program has been in the making for decades and is a collaboration of UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center and Sounds True.
The training includes exploring the interface with western psychology and cutting edge neuroscience.
With the support of meditation teacher Hugh Byrne and a group of peers, Regina will be receiving guidance on how to teach core practices and apply mindful awareness and compassion to relationships, conflict, trauma, organizational wisdom, emotional distress and physical pain.
